I am a chatty Southern girl who enjoys the Texas culture from eating BBQ and drinking tea… to football, family, friends, and teasing my hair (yes, big hair included)! I reside in Ft. Worth, Texas. Recently I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Communication and Government. I am not sure what I want to do with my degree, but what I do know is… I am to encourage my generation.
I have written a book, “Bullied Yet Victorious: How I Overcame Fear with Faith” and it was published by Tate Publishing in Oklahoma. The book was released July 23, 2013, and now available to purchase. The book is about the bullying experiences I went through from second grade to college; but, it also shares how God helped me to overcome every obstacle. I love Romans 8:28, God makes all things work together for our good. What the enemy meant for harm, God turned it around for my good. I believe God has given me the book as a platform to encourage my generation and the next that He has a purpose for them according to Jeremiah 29:11. Teens and young adults need to know they are victorious, God loves them, and they are wonderfully made according to Psalm 139. My desire is to travel and speak at events/churches/youth groups/conferences.
I blog about all kinds of topics such as: bullying, leadership, beauty, self-esteem, relationships, motivation, food, and family. Basically, I am a Chatty Texan! So sit back, sip your coffee, and lets chat away!
